Special Forces Soldiers, volunteers honor Fisher House fathers

But on June 18, families at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Fisher House took some time off to come together for a traditional backyard barbeque. Fisher House guest Seth Theriault plays on the bouncy house. Seth was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in March 2007 and has been a frequent guest at the Fisher House while receiving treatment at MAMC. [gallery]
Founder’s Day Open House
We are hosting a Founder’s Day Open House on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in honor of Fisher House Founder Zachary Fisher’s 100th birthday. The event will feature a free barbeque lunch, tours of the home, door prizes, children’s activities and more. Come out and learn more about how Fisher House supports America’s fighting men and women and their families when they need it most. Open to the public.
