We live in Oregon- 21 miles from the Oregon-California border in a small town called Talent; 472 miles from here. All we could think of was our daughter and whatever it takes to get to her. Thanks to the Fisher House, we had a lot less to worry about. It cost nothing to stay here, so we could concentrate on her and not worry about our finances. The staff was friendly and compassionate. The room was excellent. We enjoyed our stay even though we were worried about our daughter’s health.

Thank you to all of the people that sponsored us. Thank you to all of the cadre that allowed us to take on this challenge for a good cause.

A special thank you to Andy and Courtney for their efforts, especially Andy's motivation during the run and Courtney's support before, during, and after the race, including all of the pictures.

Finally, a very special thank you to CPT Sartori. CPT Sartori led us to the Fort Lewis Fisher House and motivated our class to us to raise and donate this money. Beyond her donation, she providied schedules that allowed us to run, (and recover), and continual encouragement. It was her commitment to charities that support soldiers and their families, that really started this whole event.
